THE ERAS EDITION

PECKHAM 24 X 10 YEARS | 2016-2026

Time flies. It’s 10 years since Peckham 24 started life as a pop-up on the fringes of Photo London Week.  Through a labour of love involving over 200 talented artists, curators and collaborators, we’ve grown the festival from our original 24 hour format into an annual event that’s become a fixture of the UK photography scene.  To honour our first decade we’re pleased to announce the ERAS edition, running over three days from 15-17 May 2026, where we will explore photography through the lens of time.  We’ll also be paying tribute to the way that the artists we have worked with during our formative years have defined us.

Time is a paradox; it is intangible, but its traces are omnipresent; it is an illusion, yet it’s governing our lives; it facilitates growth, while inducing decay. The projects exhibited at this year’s Peckham 24 explore these multifaceted aspects of time; they address the issues of our time, interrogate ecological transformation and its long-term implications, capture varying life stages and nostalgic formations, and explore the lingering of the past in the present. Alongside new artistic positions, artists and collaborators from earlier editions will be invited back to showcase how their practice has developed over time.
